About the club:
Winchcombe Cycling Club was founded in 1980. We are a British Cycling affilated club and cater for both road riders and mountain bikers. We always welcome new members of all abilities and levels of experience

About the area:
The town of Winchcombe is superbly located for cycling on and off-road. There are many quiet country lanes which can take you into the demanding yet scenic Cotswold Hills to the East. To the West lies the River Severn and Malvern Hills, while heading North takes you into the flat land of Evesham Vale.

Club Activities:
Road riding - the club meets every Sunday morning for a road ride. The pace is steady and we normally cover between 30 and 60 miles (including a tea stop). For details of where we meet and where we go see the calendar page on the website.

Off-road rides - there is an off-road ride every Sunday leaving Gretton at 9am. Jon Whyte leads the group over some of the best mountain biking in the area.

Events - we hold two major events during the year:

Hell of the North Cotswolds (HONC): an off-road reliability trial
Falling Leaves Randonee: a 100k road ride held under Audax UK rules.

The club also organises trips to see major cycling events, including the Tour de France and World Championships.
